Silkworth Architect P.A. is a Vero Beach, Florida-based, full service architectural design
and interior consultation services firm. One of the original architects
in the development of prestigious John's Island,
L. M. Silkworth, AIA has established his reputation as
a leading architect in Vero Beach for twenty years. Recent
designs include the Marine Bank & Trust Company
building in Vero and private residences in Windsor,
John's Island, Orchid Island, Delray Beach, Bent
Pine and Loblolly Pines in the Hobe Sound area.
A
Detroit native, Mr. Silkworth is a graduate
of Lawrence Technological University.
He was a partner with Jim Gibson for
18 years in Gibson & Silkworth,
Architects & Associates. The firm
was involved in the beginning of John's
Island and is famous for designing its
Georgian homes.
Gibson
& Silkworth received more than 1,000
commissions in seven states before Mr.
Silkworth founded L.M. Silkworth Architect
P.A. in 1996.
Mr.
Silkworth is a member of the American
Institute of Architects and A Certificate holder of the National
Council of Architectural Registration
Boards. Mr.
Silkworth is a registered architect in Florida,
Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Colorado.
